Abstract: Child labor is a significant
issue in the automobile sector in District Peshawar,
particularly in workshops along the Dalazak Ring Road. Many
children work in unsafe and challenging environments, often
at the cost of their education and well-being. Demographic
factors, such as family size, age, and educational
background, play a key role in determining why children enter
the labor force. Similarly, economic factors like household
income, poverty levels, and parental unemployment are
critical in pushing children into work to support their
families. This research builds on existing studies but fills
a gap by focusing specifically on the automobile sector in
District Peshawar. Data collection for this study was
conducted using a questionnaire, ires, and primary data
obtained through convenience sampling. The questionnaire,
designed by the author, is structured to reflect the research
objectives, ensuring a logical flow of questions aligned with
the study's goals. The study's results suggest that child
labor depends on factors such as demographic and economic
factors in the local auto industry.
