Bakhtar University Journals maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards plagiarism in all publications. Plagiarism is not only unethical but also carries serious consequences. If any instance of plagiarism is detected in a manuscript, the author will be promptly notified and given the opportunity to make necessary revisions. Failure to rectify the issue will result in rejection of the submission.

Deal with plagiarism:
  • Upon submission, all manuscripts undergo thorough plagiarism checks using licensed software. If the detected plagiarism exceeds 10%, immediate revision is requested from the author.

  • If the content exhibits less than 10% plagiarism, it will proceed through the publication process.

  • In order to uphold the manuscript's quality, we will conduct an additional plagiarism check before final publication. If any plagiarism is detected at this stage, the author will be requested to make further revisions.


To handle a case of plagiarism, a specific procedure is utilized. The rules of conduct for Bakhtar University Journal are outlined in the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) flowcharts.
As part of our commitment to upholding the integrity of our publications, we have established the following procedures to address instances of plagiarism:

  • The individual who brought the situation to our attention has been apprised of the necessary procedure to be followed.

  • Comparing manuscripts is essential for identifying and addressing any instances of plagiarism.

  • All journal editors will be promptly informed and asked to provide their feedback.

  • The authors of the manuscript in question will be presented with documentary evidence of the plagiarism and will be requested to provide their comments.

  • If the authors be found guilty of plagiarism, the affected authors and the editor of the original journal will be notified.

  • An official retraction of the manuscript will be issued by the journal(s).The manuscript will be promptly removed from its online version.

  • To maintain the integrity of our publications, manuscripts authored by the individuals involved will not be accepted for publication in our journals for a period of two years.
